Số phận, định mệnh có tồn tại không?

Số phận là gì? Định mệnh là gì? Có tồn tại không? Chúng ta có thể làm chủ được nó không?
Ronald Reagan, cựu Tổng Thống Mỹ từng nói ” chúng ta là chủ của định mệnh chứ không phải là nạn nhân của số phận”
Nhưng các cụ lại nói:
“Con vua thì lại làm vua
Con sãi ở chùa lại quét lá đa”
Hãy cùng nhìn vào sự khác nhau của định mệnh và số phận trước khi bàn luận xem ta có thể làm gì với nó.
Định mệnh theo tôi là những chuyện đã sắp đặt trước. định sẵn và không thể thay đổi. Số phận là những chuỗi sự kiện sắp xếp trước ta có thể nắm bắt và thay đổi định mệnh của mình. Nói cách khác khi sinh ra chúng ta Trời đã có kế hoạch cho chúng ta ví dụ như: làm bác sỹ hay kỹ sư hay chỉ đơn giản là những con người bình thường. Tuy nhiên kế hoạch này sẽ thực hiện ra sao, chi tiết như thế nào thì lại tùy thuộc vào chúng ta. Nếu là nông dân chúng ta có thể chọn làm nhà nông thông minh với những ứng dụng khoa học tiên tiến hay là những người nông dân quần quật lao động rồi nướng đời mình qua những chiếu nhậu thâu đêm, vướng bận vào con cái đầy đàn nheo nhóc.
Trong cái khung của mình, chúng ta luôn có lựa chọn: chọn chăm chỉ, tích lũy dành dụm hay chọn há miệng chờ sung rụng, sống hôm nay không biết ngày mai. Có những gia đình chọn bán nhà cửa cho con ăn học đàng hoàng và có những đấng sinh thành chú trọng cuộc sống vật chất mà bỏ quên trí tuệ cho con mình. Chúng ta chọn dành thời gian cho gia đình, kiếm bớt tiền hay lao vào vòng xoáy tiền bạc, lơ là vợ con mình để cuối cùng gia đình không còn là tổ ấm.
Sự lựa chọn của chúng ta sẽ quyết định định mệnh nào xảy ra, số phận chúng ta sẽ ra sao.
